Who we are

Resound Stone is a marketing practice based in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, providing brand, content and campaign services to businesses and organisations. For the purposes of the Data Protection Act [Chapter 11:12] of Zimbabwe, Resound Stone is the data controller for this website.

What this site collects

This website is published on Blogger, a service operated by Google. We do not run a customer database on this site, and we do not ask you to create an account or log in to read anything here.

Information reaches us in three ways:

  • Automatically, through the hosting platform. Blogger records standard technical data for every visit, including your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view, how long you stay and the site you arrived from. This is aggregated into visitor statistics that we can see. We cannot identify you personally from it.
  • Through comments. If you leave a comment, the name attached to your Google account and the text of your comment are published on the page. Do not put a phone number, address or anything else private in a comment.
  • Through advertising cookies. See the section below.

When you contact us

If you email us or message us on WhatsApp, we keep that correspondence so we can answer you and so we have a record of what was agreed. We use it for that purpose and no other. You can ask us to delete it at any time using the contact details above.

This site links to other websites, including Google's own services and, in our articles, to third party guides and tools. Once you follow a link away from here, this policy no longer applies. Those sites have their own policies and we have no control over them.

Your rights

Under the Data Protection Act [Chapter 11:12], you have the right to ask what information is held about you, to have inaccurate information corrected, and to ask that information about you be deleted. Write to us using the contact details above and we will respond.

The regulator for data protection in Zimbabwe is the Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (POTRAZ).
